Poetry on the Porch
On a warm spring day in 2007 a group of friends met to savor the sound of words they'd been saving to say aloud. Encouraged and enriched by supportive listeners, for most it was their first public reading of work that was sometimes hidden for decades.
Through the generosity of each poet, pieces were contributed to an anthology of that day with limited print run for their personal distribution. Poetry on the Porch, Volume 1 is the first in what hopefully will be a series of many.
